Look what has happened at the Youth Centre already

The Youth Centre is located East on Highway 303 for 10.8 km to RG RD 3265, turn left (north) and drive 2 km to RG RD 3264A, turn left (north again) and drive 100 m turn right(east). Range is located on your left side. The Youth Centre is the first building on your right as you go up the hill.

The outside of the NEW YOUTH CENTRE is done!!

Thank you to all the volunteers this far. Now the Association needs volunteers to do all the inside.

 

The Youth Centre is taking shape.

The building is taking shape, by September 9th 2008, this is what the Youth Centre looks like. There is still a long way to go to finish the plumbing, wiring, insulating and sheeting in of the inside. If you have just a little bit of time it would be nice if you could dedicate some of it to this building.

The continuous bottle drive is going great!!!

Over $2500 has been raised from bottle donations, Thanks to hard the workers doing the sorting  etc.

Sod turning ceremony May 31 2008

 

 

Dennis Thomsen(SWF region 2 director), Tyler Verabioff (LDFGA president),Dale Forland(RM Councilor in Britannia), Carl Furman (building chairman), Larry Chambers (LDFGA treasurer),turn the sod at the new building site.

In order to enhance  our Youth Programs and accommodate the many acctivities of our diverse association, the executive has decided to build a multiuse Youth Center at our property in the form of a 50" x 165" building.

When hearing this Colin collected bottles and with a little help was able to bring in the first cheque of $200.00 to the LDFGA to start off our fundraising that will make the dream of enough room for all our youth and families to take part in all the activites the club has to offer come true.
